Pre Sales activities include product demonstrations, custom demonstrations using the customers sample documents as well as technical architecture, cloud, deployment and integration Q&A. PiF resource will brand PPT, and any materials with the dealers logo/name.
In addition, if the customer wants to take next steps the PIF sales engineer will provide either a budgetary proposal using the resellers logo/name as well as number of labor days to complete.
Depending on the project scope, an ROI calculator will be provided to show the labor spend on data entry, routing, matching and other associated business process costs and compare/contrast to the cost for the solution licensing, labor and support to cost justify the solution as part of the selling process.
In situations where the customer is serious and would like to scope the project labor, the PiF resource will utilize the PiF 7 step methodology for quoting and generating a statement of work (SOW). The SOW creation is limited to serious customers and to formalize a fixed price labor engagement.
PiF will provide a number of days to assist with implementation of the proposed/scoped project. PiF will provide remote deployment and training where necessary and provide onsite services by request, not inclusive of travel expenses.
Most simple projects do not require a project management resource, but in occasions where full automation projects come into play, PiF will provide charting, timelines, updated task items and a certified PMP project manager to manage the lifecycle of the project.
Many projects which involve business process automation also include integration with 3rd party systems which in turn may require custom scripts, applications or gap fillers to ensure the end to end process works. PiF staffs multiple full time developers to help bridge the gap where scope items exceed the capabilities of the selected product.
