Accounting Clerk

About the Role

PiF Technologies is looking for an Accounting Clerk to be an integral member of the PiF Finance Team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will manage payments made by our customers for their software, hardware, and services, and ensure our vendors are paid in a timely manner. Our software solutions include Document Management, Electronic Forms, and  Accounts Payable Automation. The technologies may be deployed in a customer’s on-premise server environment or the AWS Cloud.

This role is “remote flexible,” with new hires expected to be in our office for initial training and onboarding. Following a 45-60 day training program, candidates can work a hybrid schedule (2-3 days per week remote, if desired). We do ask that team members live within commuting distance of our Hooksett, NH office.

What you’ll be doing

  • Preparing, verifying, and processing invoices for sales or services rendered
  • Entering data on invoices, using a strong attention to detail to ensure proper coding
  • Collecting on accounts by sending invoice reminders and communicating with customers via phone and email
  • Receiving customer payments by recording checks and credit card transactions and entering them into our accounting software
  • Preparing bank deposits, working efficiently when totaling and recording the deposit amounts, scanning checks and electronically processing
  • Other relevant Accounts Payable tasks

You Have

  • Accounts Payable and Receivable experience
  • Knowledge in QuickBooks or other financial software packages
  • Experience with our ERP, E-Automate is a plus
  • Active knowledge of Excel functions and G Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Business maturity with a “Can-do” attitude
  • A self-starter attitude with high initiative
