Software Project Manager

About the Role

As an integral PiF Professional Services team member, you will own the successful delivery of implementation services for our software deployments. You’ll work seamlessly with both our in-house implementation consultants and the PiF sales team to onboard new clients and manage the delivery of our services.

You will leverage your knowledge of software project management and delivery and have the ability to scope a project and create a detailed Statement of Work. Additionally, your PMP certification will allow you to effectively manage projects — including scheduling, status updates, project reviews, and escalations as required.

Ideally, you will have a working knowledge of various technologies, including Microsoft SQL, APIs, Automated Workflows, Document Management, Electronic Forms, Artificial Intelligence, Robotic Process Automation, and the AWS Cloud platform.

This role is based in Hooksett, NH with flexibility for remote work. It requires an individual with hands-on people and services skills to act as the liaison with our Implementation Consultants, our Customers, and our Sales Team as we take our customers on their journey from proposal signature to Go-Live with a variety of PiF software solutions.

What you’ll be doing

Lead and manage software projects from initiation to completion.
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and QA engineers.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Facilitate regular project meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders.
Manage project scope, schedule, and cost changes using appropriate verification techniques.
Conduct post-project evaluations and identify areas for improvement.

You Have

A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
PMP Certification
3-5 Years experience as a Software Project Manager or similar role
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, JIRA, Trello, Microsoft Project)
