For over 20 years, Living Innovations has provided support and residential care to people with disabilities to have a good life at home and in the community. As Living Innovations continues to grow, additional services such as in-home supports, case management, children’s services and others have been added to meet needs in particular geographic areas. The agency today provides services for around a thousand people with disabilities.
As a healthcare organization, state/regulatory requirements meant that Living Innovations was forced to deal with a lot of paper – copying, filing, auditing, correcting errors etc. Working with frevvo’s partner PiF Technologies, they implemented electronic forms and workflows that integrate seamlessly with DocStar, their document management system.

Their first workflow, Applicant Tracking and On-boarding was implemented in weeks. Rather than print out a stack of paper, the electronic workflow uses e-signatures and generates required documents like a W-4, I-9, Code of Conduct etc. The documents feed directly into DocStar and index fields are created automatically.
The benefits are enormous since the automated processes are significantly faster and error-free. Living Innovations is finding that the time and cost to prepare and facilitate a new hire on boarding is virtually cut in half.
